FabFauxFashion

Lush brand Chloe Inspired Paddington

There are 5 fashion seasons, though 3 are the one’s we find the most exciting. Spring (so you can abolish the winter blues), Resort (so you can dream of vacation) and Fall because it’s just so new!  What’s more fun than imagining how you’ll wear your hip new jacket, jeans, a darling pair of new pumps, the latest cosmetic shades and of course - the handbag! There’s something about looking at the high end thousand plus handbags that we liken to men viewing the Super Bowl trophy. Thanks to today’s oil prices, savvy shoppers are aiming to shear the price tag in half without skimping on the look or quality. Enter FabFauxFashion.com. These are not your average knockoffs. They have that same heavy feel, the same "new handbag smell" and so many sought after styles it’ll make you cry if you paid full retail price elsewhere. Our favorite line is the Lush brand - they’re out of this world! And FabFauxFashion has generously donated one such bag for our big Back to School giveaway. We’re in mad love with this Chloe-inspired Paddington handbag (shown, $169) in shades of coffee bean, camel, milk and black. Get the same great look you’re after this Fall while saving yourself at least 50 tanks of gas to boot - what could be more fab than that?

Walkin the Rue

Polaroid Poison Frog Edition

One visit to Colette in France and you’ll be going oo-la-la. It’s exactly the type of store that makes fashionistas love online shopping with such fervor. The french music’s funky and the product offerings (yes - they ship worldwide) are like nothing you’ll find anywhere else. Take one look at the the Polaroid Poison Frog edition (shown,  € 77) and you’ll understand what we mean. Another must see is their special edition iPod case by Yoshida. There are only 100 of them in the whole wide world (€ 121). A little fashion birdie told us they’re also going to have the Bruno Frisoni for Roger Vivier pumps any day now. If you’d like to send an email inquiry about acquiring a pair for yourself, type your words here and send them a bonafide French request to get your footsies on the list. Colette’s a breeze to browse with editions in English and French. Think shopping overseas is expensive? The Euro goes a lot further than the pound does. And you didn’t even have to buy one airline ticket to shop rue Saint-Honoré in Paris.  Tres Magnifique!

French Style: Alain Mikli, Barbara BuiCarven, FashionTV, Jacadi.
