INTRODUCING STARLITE®
IN-HOME SKIN REJUVENATION LASER
First At-Home Low Level Laser WITH LED Light Energy to
Safely Diminish Signs of Premature Skin Aging
Reasonably Priced to Appeal to Cost-Conscious Beauty Seekers
The economic downturn is causing the brows of many Fountain of Youth seekers to furrow as they search for lower-cost, though no less safe or effective, skin rejuvenation alternatives to keep their faces lifted, firmed, toned and tightened – along with their belts. Fortunately, Innovative Medicine LLC introduces the Starlite® In-Home Skin Rejuvenation Laser, the first personal laser combined with LED (light emitting diode) technology in one safe, effective and completely painless handheld device.
Designed for use at home for about 20 minutes per day, Starlite employs the same cold red spectrum light energy emitted by the sun – without the skin-damaging ultraviolet A and B wavelengths – to help naturally stimulate cellular processes to help soften wrinkles, fine lines and crow’s feet, improve skin texture and tone, reduce the appearance of scarring and plump thin lips. Compliant with all industry performance and safety standards, Starlite (http://www.starliteskinlaser.com) is now available through mass retailers nationwide.
Laser Therapy Widely Practiced by Medical Professionals
The use of low level laser therapy to help hasten cell renewal, promote collagen and ATP (energy) production, speed the absorption of vital nutrients needed for repair, stimulate the mitochondria in skin cells (for cellular healing), and accelerate wound healing, has been widely accepted and validated by the medical community.
Dermatologists offer more intense versions of laser therapies (IPL, Fraxel™) to patients, to treat a variety of conditions from premature skin aging to acne scarring to rosacea. Although results may be achieved more quickly, there’s generally some associated downtime, along with a hefty price tag.
According to a recent survey almost 53 percent of plastic surgeons say the downturn in the economy has had an adverse impact on certain procedures. The laser offers not only a safer alternative to surgeries, that can cost patients tens of thousands of dollars, but to more common procedures such as Botox or Restylane which can cost $1,000 for each visit to the doctor’s office. In addition, the laser offers a non-invasive, non-chemical approach to reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Painless, Skin Rejuvenation Now Achieved At Home
Starlite® is the ONLY home laser device to combine low power medical grade 655nm red spectrum soft laser technology with effective 940nm infrared spectrum pulsed LED light energy – to achieve quicker results than through red light alone. The condensed light emitted by Starlite represents the HIGHEST permissible level of laser power allowed by the FDA. And because Starlite’s laser energy is dense and highly focused, thanks to a specially engineered optical lens, it provides better penetration of the top layers of the skin, even weathered, tough or sensitive. Unlike other light devices, Starlite features a patent-pending safety interlock that will only turn on once the device is within 2 inches from the skin, further minimizing safety risks.
According to leading New York dermatologist Neil Sadick, Clinical Professor of Dermatology, Weill Medical College, Cornell University “The trend in cosmetic surgery and dermatology has been away from ablative, or destructive, processes and toward technologies and techniques that spare tissue and promote growth. Unlike their ablative counterparts, non-ablative treatments require multiple sessions, but are well tolerated and require no downtime. With the increasing amounts of clinical data and scientific studies, the techniques of non- ablative rejuvenation, producing safe and effective treatments for an ever-growing population of aging patients, are being refined.” (US Dermatology Review 2006)
Recommended Usage
The Starlite Laser is recommended for use at 5 to 10 minutes intervals, twice per day, anywhere signs of premature skin aging show up, including hands and neck. Common areas include wrinkles, crow’s feet, nasal labial folds and lip lines. It can also be used in conjunction with other medically-supervised or OTC skin rejuvenation therapies, including Thermage treaments and dermal fillers. The laser itself should not be shined directly into the eyes, and is not recommended for people with thyroid conditions or cancer.
Starlite is currently available at starliteskinlaser.com. It has a suggested retail price of $159 - $165 and a mean time till failure (MTFF) of approximately 10,000 hours. One dollar of every purchase is earmarked to the Children’s Skin Disease Foundation (CSDF) – a non profit organization focusing on the unique problems of young people who suffer from skin diseases and the families who care for them.
